With the wood origin tracking system, we want to add value to our customers and make sure that the wood raw material we use is produced in an ecologically and socially sustainable manner. The aim is to direct wood procurement so that all the wood purchased by the company originates from Finnish PEFC and / or FSC-certified private forests. The controversial raw material is not accepted. In our operations, we comply with applicable laws and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles of Labor (1998). We take care of the safety of our employees with the necessary instructions and tools. We encourage our employees to look after their health and well-being, and strive to promote well-being at work. We do not use child labor or forced labor. No form of discrimination or workplace harassment is allowed in our organization. The applicants' skills and education are the basis for hiring. We commit to complying with collective agreements and the personnel's freedom to organize.
FTF is also committed to complying with FSC's Controlled Wood policy. The management of the company undertakes to operate in a PEFC and FSC-compliant, environmentally and socially sustainable manner and to maintain the conditions that enable it in the company. Total responsibility for the chain of custody chain management system is provided by Managing Director Juuso Heikkilä. The company's policy and operating principles are trained for the personnel. The policy is available to customers and other stakeholders on request.
